There’s nothing in this world that can cheer you up like a good animal video or picture. They are innocent, cute, and sometimes, they are caught in such hilarious situations that you can’t help but giggle uncontrollably.  From cats to pandas,

there are so many animals out there that are quick to show off their photogenic skills but the best of these moments come from candid animal photos. These photos are widely loved and appreciated to the point that there are competitions held to rank the best funny photos of animals.

Today, we’re talking about some of the funniest animal photos ever taken.

1. Golden Silk Monkey

While Golden Silk Monkeys look extremely sophisticated and composed, sometimes they like to let their goofy inner selves loose. One photo shot by Ken Jensen named ‘Ouch’ showed a Golden Silk Monkey in a painfully embarrassing moment–think of pain in the southern region. This hilarious click resulted in being the number 1 submission at the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards for 2021.

2. Dancing Bears

‘Let’s Dance’ is a shot taken by Andrew Parkinson that got him the highly-coveted award for best comedic animal photo. The photo shows a Kamchatka bear splashing in the water but when you look at the photo from afar, it seems as if the two cubs are dancing together. These bears are native to the Kamchatka region but due to their development, their population has spread. Nevertheless, it is always good to see two bears “dancing.”

3. Raccoons Doing Racoon Things

Raccoons are often referred to as ‘trash pandas’ as they spend most of their time lurking in trash cans and look like fun-sized pandas. Over the years, raccoons have adapted to human civilization and you can often find them chilling by a car or sitting on the footpath. But the photo that Nicolas de VAULX shared had many of us doubling over with laughter. The photo is named ‘How do you get that damn window open?’ and it is pretty self-explanatory. The photo shows a raccoon hilariously hanging on to a window in the most comical way possible.
